Found: A Tory Burch Bag That Looks So Similar to Chanel’s Iconic Vanity Case (& It's 30% Off)

Move over totes and shoulder bags, because micro purses are back for summer — and more specifically, vanity bags. Perhaps it’s because we fashion girlies are tired of lugging around these massive pouches on our shoulders and want to opt for something much, much smaller. But it’s probably because the Chanel Vanity bag hacks are all over our FYP’s — and if it’s not made it to yours yet, oh how I envy you. 

I would love to go back to a time when I didn’t feel the forceful pull to buy a Chanel purse. However, I’m in no financial position to give in to such desires at the moment. Luckily, Tory Burch has an adorable quilted vanity case in its lineup that’s a very close second to Chanel’s.  

If you know Tory Burch, you know that they’re the queen of making high-quality bags that may or may not be inspired by other brands, like Chanel or Hermes. However, they’re not the first label to do so (and definitely won’t be the last), although they are one of the best at it. All of the handbags Tory Burch has to offer are made with high-quality materials and fabrics, and oftentimes are way more user-friendly compared to their counterparts (i.e., the Charlie bag). So when I went on a quest to find a luxe vanity case within my price range, I was overjoyed to discover that Tory Burch had one.  

If you haven’t met yet, allow me to introduce you to the Kira East-West Vanity Case — the mini crossbody bag that looks oh-so-similar to Chanel’s. The Kira case has a large diamond-quilt pattern, a leather top handle, a detachable chain strap, and the iconic Tory Burch logo in the center. Compared to Chanel, this one is slightly smaller but also less than half the price. If you can’t make it into a Chanel beauty store, then your only option is to buy a vanity case online, and the starting price is over $2,500! I don’t know about you, but that’s nowhere near my budget for a tiny bag that can just fit my phone. 

Usually, the Kira Vanity Case retails for $470, but right now you can find a gorgeous red colorway for 30% off.Retailers like Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s have the bag for over $100 off this week, giving us the perfect excuse to finally get one. Because summer is on the horizon and soon the only thing we want to carry is something tiny enough to hold the bare necessities — phone, wallet, keys, lip gloss, and that’s it.
