Italian forward Elisee Assui flips commitment to Florida State

Italian forward Elisee Assui has flipped his commitment from George Washington to Florida State, according to DraftExpress’ Jon Chepkevich.
He’s a 6-foot-5 forward originally from Italy, currently playing for Varese in the Italian Serie A.
A 20-year-old, Assui played for Team Italy in the 2024 FIBA Eurobasket, where he averaged 12.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game for his home country.
In 26 games in the Serie A this season, Assui is averaging 3.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game for Varese.
Assui is set to be Luke Loucks and Florida State’s tenth newcomer of the offseason, as Loucks looks to reshape his alma mater headed into his second season.
The Seminoles’ other recruits include four-star Marcis Ponder, four-star Martay Barnes, four-star Brandon Bass Jr., four-star Collin Paul, three-star Jasen Lopez, Colorado transfer Sebastian Rancik, Missouri transfer Anthony Robinson II, UNC Asheville transfer Kameron Taylor and Cincinnati transfer Shon Abaev.
