Six police officers assaulted after pulling over car in Carlisle Road, Dartford
Six police officers were assaulted after pulling over a car in the early hours of this morning.
Officers stopped a vehicle in Carlisle Road in Dartford just after 1am today (April 22) .
Six officers were hurt, including two who were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
One remains in hospital. His condition is described as stable.
Four other officers sustained minor injuries.
Five men - aged 30, 55, 25, 25 and 30 - from London and Dartford were subsequently arrested at the scene. They all remain in custody.
Investigations are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: “Ambulance crews attended, assessed, and treated the two officers on scene before taking them to a local hospital for further treatment.”
