Opta’s Supercomputer has predicted the chances of Tottenham Hotspur picking up their first league win of 2026 against Wolves at Molineux Stadium.

Tottenham thought they had secured their first league win of the calendar year against Brighton, only for the Seagulls to break Spurs’ hearts with a stoppage-time equaliser last Saturday.

That came as a bitter blow to the Lilywhites’ chances of remaining in the Premier League, and subsequently, West Ham picked up another valuble point away at Selhurst Park on Monday to move two points clear of their London rivals.

Some pundits have said that it is difficult to see where Tottenham’s next win is going to come from, with Roberto De Zerbi’s men running out of games to save their season.

The Lilywhites desperately need to pick up a win against Wolves on Saturday, but Opta’s Supercomputer suggests that the outcome is too close to call.

The data analysis platform gives Tottenham a 37.9 per cent chance of winning at the West Midlands, while the home side has been handed a 35.9 per cent chance of inflicting yet another away defeat on Spurs.

A draw is deemed the least likely result at the Molineux, with the website giving a 26.2 per cent chance of the points being shared in the Premier League fixture.

Tottenham would have ideally liked to see West Ham lose at Crystal Palace, with the two London clubs now involved in a direct tussle to avoid relegation.

However, what the Hammers’ point in South London has done is confirm Wolves’ relegation from the Premier League.

That means that Rob Edwards’s men no longer have anything to play for, which Tottenham will be hoping works to their advantage when they make the trip to the Midlands this Saturday.
