North Carolina adds trio in transfer portal

North Carolina added three more key pieces from the portal on Tuesday.
The Tar Heels picked up commitments from Utah transfer guard Terrence Brown, N.C. State transfer guard Matt Able and FAU transfer center Maxim Logue of France.

The 6'9, 20-year-old French center averaged 5.0 points, 3.0 rebounds in 11 minutes per game, shooting 72% from the field.

The 6-foot-3 Brown averaged 19.9 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.4 rebounds per game while shooting 45.3% from the field and 32.7% from deep. He has one year of eligibility.
The 6-6 Able averaged 8.8 points and 3.4 rebounds. The former four-star recruit has three years of eligibility.
The 6-9 Logue averaged 5.0 points and3.0 rebounds in 11 minutes per game while shooting 72% from the field, per Draft Express. He has two years of eligibility.
New coach Mike Malone and his staff are assembling a new roster after losing Derek Dixon (Arizona), Luka Bogavac Oklahoma State) and Kyan Evans IMinnesota) to the portal and five-star recruit Dylan Mingo.
The Heels previously added Virginia Tech transfer Neoklis Avdalas last week. Avdalas is a natural playmaker but the Heels have now reinforced their backcourt in a big way.
