‘MASSIVE!’ Feds indict SPLC for using donor money to pay white supremacists to stage ‘hate crimes’
A federal grand jury in Alabama has delivered an 11-count indictment against the Southern Poverty Law Center, the now-scandal ridden activist group that came to fame by suing Ku Klux Klan organizations into bankruptcy.

A report from CBS said the 11 counts are for wire and bank fraud-related actions.
The DOJ said the group was paying members of extremist groups as part of its efforts “to investigate them, ” and failed to disclose the payments to donors or banks.
The SPLC claimed it didn’t do anything wrong.
“The SPLC is a nonprofit entity that purports to fight white supremacy and racial hatred by reporting on extremist groups and conducting research to inform law enforcement groups with the goal of dismantling these groups,” Todd Blanche, acting attorney general, confirmed.
“The SPLC was not dismantling these groups. It was instead manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose by paying sources to stoke racial hatred.”
The charges include six counts of wire fraud, four counts of bank fraud and one count of conspiracy.
Bryan Fair, now acting as president of the group, had said only hours earlier that his group was under investigation.
He claimed it was a “now-defunct” program that used paid confidential informants to infiltrate organizations it was targeting.
“Taking on violent hate and extremist groups is among the most dangerous work there is, and we believe it is also among the most important work we do. To be clear, this program saved lives,” Fair claimed.
“The actions by the DOJ will not shake our resolve to fight for justice and ensure the promise of the Civil Rights movement becomes a reality for all. SPLC will vigorously defend ourselves, our staff and our work; we will continue to fight hate; and we will continue to envision and create a safer and more just world.”
The SPLC has been failing in influence quickly during President Donald Trump’s time in office. FBI chief Kash Patel earlier ended all ties between the agency and the SPLC, charging it with being a “partisan smear machine.”
It’s been accused of being anti-Christian and, in fact, has targeted groups like Family Research Council on the flimsiest of opinions, such as condemning groups simply because they don’t endorse the LGBT lifestyle.
