Livvy Dunne Talks Sipping Miller Lite, 'Baywatch' and More: Interview

Livvy Dunne is one of the most celebrated college athletes of her time, and even though she's moved on from her LSU gymnastics days, she's still making waves.

Now, Livvy and Miller Lite have announced a "Legendary Moments with Livvy" partnership that encourages fans to take a break from their smart phones and craft special, real-life moments with friends.

Speaking with Men's Journal about the partnership, Livvy said she's always been a fan of Miller Lite. You may have even spotted her sipping on a cold one while watching her boyfriend Paul Skenes, a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

"I've always been a Miller fan," Livvy tells Anne Erickson of Men's Journal. "I was so excited about this partnership, because it's a drink I actually love. When I turned 21 at LSU, it was one of the first things I was drinking, and now, it's my go-to at baseball games, which I'm at a lot."

She adds, "I think one thing Miller Lite and I really align on is just real-life connections: being around the people you're with, unplugging from your phone, going out, saying yes to those plans, even when it's the hard things to do. So, it's those real-life connections and creating legendary moments together."

Livvy also says she has a long history with Miller Lite. "There's nothing better than a cold Miller Lite at a baseball game," she says, "and if you look back at photos, I've always had one in my hand way before this partnership ever happened."

The two have also released a limited-edition Miller Tea Time tea set, which represents the fun of debriefing with friends after a night out. Because who doesn't love that?

The custom-designed kettle, according to Miller Lite, features a "built-in beer-puncturing mechanism, allowing a 12-ounce can of Miller Lite to be inserted into the top before flowing through the chamber and ready to be poured directly from the spout, creating a novel and shareable serving ritual. Each set comes with four can-inspired tea cups, matching silver saucers and a custom-designed tea kettle."

Fans who are 21 and over can head to Miller Lite's website to snag one, and while the first set is sold out, a second one will be available on April 28.

Livvy Dunne on Baywatch and Her First Major Acting Role

Switching gears, Livvy also opened up about her upcoming reboot of Baywatch. So, what makes her excited to do it?

"Everybody knows Baywatch. It's such an iconic franchise that's been around forever, so getting to be part of this new cast is really exciting," she says. "It's a great first role to get. It's Fun."

As for her role, Livvy says, "The character that I'm playing is not too far off from who I am. Her name is Grace. She's a junior lifeguard. She's sweet. She likes to have a good time. So, yes, I'm pumped."
