14L tonnes of legacy waste cleared from Jhiri dumpyard: RMC
Ranchi Municipal Corporation has cleared approximately 14.35 lakh metric tonnes of legacy waste from the 33-acre Jhiri dumpsite. The Rs 92-crore bio-mining project, now extended by a year, has significantly accelerated its pace by scaling up machinery. Officials are urging the executing agency to clear the remaining waste before the monsoon.
