Raptors will select 19th and 50th in the 2026 Draft
Currently, all the attention is on the Raptors surviving against the Cavaliers. However, the Raptors won the draw last night and will be selecting 19th and 50th in this year’s NBA Draft.
How the Raptors perform against the Cavaliers and in the playoffs will play a contributing factor in the personnel decisions of the off-season.
Whether this team keeps or trades the picks remains to be seen, but there are many interesting candidates at 19th. Some of them are Florida’s bigs, Thomas Haugh or Alex Condon, UConn’s Alex Karaban, or St. John’s Zuby Ejiofor. Though the Raptors may not need a guard, Vanderbilt’s Tyler Tanner has surged up the Big Board.
At 50, there are a slew of candidates who could be picked up before falling in the undrafted market. Oregon’s Nate Bittle has seemed to slip, and there are a few others who may have an in with this organization. Peja Stojakovic’s son, Andrej (Illinois), has a Serbian connection with Darko, and Naithan George (Syracuse) is the nephew of super agent Mike George, who has signed many Canadians (and remains close) to the Raptors organization.
