The U.S. Small Business Administration announced the availability of low-interest federal disaster loans to small businesses and private nonprofit organizations in dozens of parishes and counties across Louisiana, Miss. and Texas. The Economic Injury Disaster Loan program aims to offset economic losses caused by drought that began on Dec. 30, 2025.
