By JAMES MADDEN
Xavier transfer Roddie Anderson III is remaining in the Big East and heading to Seton Hall, according to reports. In his lone season at Xavier, Anderson averaged 10.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for Richard Pitino’s squad.
Anderson spent the first two seasons of his college career playing for UC San Diego and Boise State, where he played against Pitino during his time as the New Mexico head coach.
He’ll head to Seton Hall with one season of eligibility remaining and will play for head coach Shaheen Holloway with the Pirates.
Anderson is the Pirates’ third addition in this year’s transfer portal cycle, with the addition of four-star high school guard Darien Moore.
The rest of Seton Hall’s current transfer portal class includes Texas transfer Simeon Wilcher and Radford transfer Del Jones.
