HC lens on ‘almost dilapidated’ British-era building housing a school

The Orissa High Court expressed grave concern over the dilapidated condition of a 143-year-old British-era building housing St Xavier’s High School. Despite previous warnings of its dangerous state, the school reopened in January. Authorities assured the court of student safety and will submit an action-taken report by May 4.
