Cher Reportedly Learns She Has 15-Year-Old Granddaughter Amid Family Claims

Cher reportedly just discovered she is a grandmother.

The 79-year-old “Believe” icon was informed by Kayti Edwards, the step-granddaughter of Julie Andrews, that she has a 15-year-old granddaughter named Ever.

Kayti spoke out in an explosive interview with The Sun, revealing she had a child with Cher‘s son Elijah Blue Allman.

Kayti said she got pregnant in 2010 amid a romance with Elijah, but “he never wanted to be a parent.”

She also said Elijah told his now-estranged wife that he fathered a child following his 2021 drug overdose leading to rumors within the family, and last year, Cher reached out.

“Cher got in touch with me last June and asked if it was true, so I had to confess. She said she had heard something about it from Elijah back in 2021 but didn’t know if it was just crazy talk. When she heard the news, she was speechless,” Kayti said.

Cher apparently began to form a relationship with Ever, and they stayed at her house last year.

“She was lovely and kind, and we had dinner. Cher asked Ever if she wanted to see her closet and showed her a pair of jeans she had worn in concert. It was a cool experience for her. Cher was very childlike. They played in the pool, and she spoke to Ever about school and asked her about boys,” Kayti told the outlet.

“Cher really is trying. It’s an adjustment, and I’m not pushing any relationship. It has to come naturally. Elijah and his wife always said Cher didn’t want to be a grandma and to keep Ever away, so I was nervous to introduce her, but it’s been nothing but a good experience.”

Cher has just filed to put her son under a temporary conservatorship amid his ongoing struggles with addiction and after a February arrest, calling him “gravely disabled.”
