Judo Canada Reaches a Historic Milestone in 2026

Judo Canada is proud to announce that in 2026, your federation has reached a historic level with 24,000 members across the country, setting the highest membership total in its history.

This important moment reflects the vitality of Canadian judo, the passion of the community, and the collective momentum that drives our sport from coast to coast. This remarkable growth would not have been possible without the ongoing commitment of clubs, coaches, volunteers, parents, provincial and territorial associations, as well as the many partners and sponsors who help grow judo in Canada every day.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who makes this growth possible. Your support, your trust, and your efforts on the ground allow our sport to shine and our community to continue growing.

As we celebrate this historic record together today, we also continue moving forward toward a new symbolic goal: reaching the 25,000-member mark. More than ever, this ambition is within reach, and it is together that we will be able to cross this next threshold.
