Katy Perry Tosses Credit Card Into Trevi Fountain for Luck During Rome Trip
Katy Perry is doing what she can to ensure some good luck comes her way.
The 41-year-old “Double Rainbow” singer posted a video to her socials on Sunday (April 19), revealing that she was visiting Rome, Italy.

“Y’all, I told you in ‘Save as Draft’ that I don’t f–k with change,” she said in the video, referring to her Witness song, which features the line: “I don’t f–k with change, but lately, I’ve been flipping coins a lot.”
“But I feel like I need to put something in the Trevi fountain for good luck,” she continued, as she’s seen placing her credit card into the water and grabbing it before it floats away.
Legend has it that tossing a coin into the famous fountain brings good fortune.
“Just Rome’ing around” she captioned a carousel of photos and videos from her trip on her Instagram. She performed a private concert on Saturday (April 18) at La Nuvola, reportedly covering Whitney Houston‘s “How Will I Know,” as well as many of her biggest hits, from “Hot N Cold” to “Teenage Dream” to her most recent song, “LIFETIMES.”
The trip also comes amid allegations that have made headlines involving Katy.
