Trump Says U.S. Navy Intercepted Iranian Ship, Blew a 'Hole in the Engine Room' Amid Ongoing Blockade
President Donald Trump is giving an update amid the ongoing blockade near the Strait of Hormuz.
The 79-year-old President of the United States revealed on his Truth Social account that the U.S. Navy intercepted an Iranian-flagged cargo ship on Sunday (April 19), called the TOUSKA.
“Today, an Iranian-flagged cargo ship named TOUSKA, nearly 900 feet long and weighing almost as much as an aircraft carrier, tried to get past our Naval Blockade, and it did not go well for them,” he wrote.

“The U.S. Navy Guided Missile Destroyer USS SPRUANCE intercepted the TOUSKA in the Gulf of Oman, and gave them fair warning to stop. The Iranian crew refused to listen, so our Navy ship stopped them right in their tracks by blowing a hole in the engineroom.”
“Right now, U.S. Marines have custody of the vessel. The TOUSKA is under U.S. Treasury Sanctions because of their prior history of illegal activity. We have full custody of the ship, and are seeing what’s on board!” he added.
Donald Trump continues to turn on anyone who speaks out against him, even allies that he hired to work with his administration. He dissed yet another person who has spoken out against the ongoing war in Iran, labeling them a “sleazebag” and accusing them of leaking sensitive information.
Trump also recently said that he stopped taking Tucker Carlson‘s calls after his former ally slammed a profanity laced Easter morning threat against Iran.
