Few takers for folk form in internet age
Ghoda Nacha, a vibrant folk dance from Kendrapada, is struggling to survive. Performers cite declining interest from the younger generation and low earnings as major challenges. This traditional dance, once popular during festivals, is now rarely sought after. The district administration offers some support through pensions and government functions. Efforts are underway to preserve this cultural heritage.
