Insiders Reveal Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Unexpected Wedding Gift Rule: ‘They Don’t Need Anything'
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding is reportedly set for July 3, 2026, in New York City, and it seems they know exactly what they want from their friends and family. Turns out, they want, or rather need, nothing from them.
Insiders told Rob Shuter for his Naughty but Nice Substack that Swift and Kelce won’t be needing any gifts, but instead have asked their guests to donate to charity instead.
“They don’t need anything. Between them, they have more than enough. So they decided — why not use this moment to help others? They’ve chosen causes that truly matter to them. Guests are being asked to donate instead of buying gifts,” the insider said. “This is the Taylor people know and love. She’s always been incredibly generous — quietly donating, supporting fans, helping people behind the scenes.”
“Staff working the wedding can expect a very big bonus. Taylor never forgets the people who make things happen,” they added. “She’s built a reputation for taking care of people. From tour crews to everyday fans, she shows up in a real way.”
For those who don’t know, Kelce and Swift have been dating since July 2023, but didn’t make their romance known until months later, when Swift arrived at one of his games.
Then, Swift and Kelce announced their engagement news on Aug. 26 2025. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married ????” Swift captioned a post, revealing several pictures from the intimate moment surrounded by flowers in their backyard garden.
