Dylan Sprouse Defends Hollywood Hills Property From Attempted Burglary
Dylan Sprouse found himself in a frightening situation in the early morning hours of April 17, 2026. The actor defended the Hollywood Hills home he shares with model and wife Barbara Palvin from a trespasser. Palvin made a 911 call around 12:30 a.m. on Friday to report an attempted burglary. TMZ reports that Sprouse held the suspect at gunpoint after wrangling him and tackling him to the ground. Sprouse restrained the interloper until law enforcement arrived.
The Los Angeles Police Department officers on the scene were made aware that Sprouse had a gun, and after the confrontation, the actor put the weapon back in its holster. According to law enforcement, the event was "more like tresspassing than a full-blown attempted burglary." The man was not booked for intruding, per the couple's wishes, but for prior warrants. His identity remains under wraps.
TMZ adds that this apparently isn't the first time an intruder has tried to access Sprouse and Palvin's home. A source claims that Sprouse is understandably shaken up, but thankfully, neither he nor Palvin is injured.
Sprouse recently starred in the 2025 action comedy Under Fire opposite Mason Gooding. In addition to acting, he's an owner of the All-Wise Meadery in Brooklyn, New York.
This is the second reported Hollywood Hills incident in recent days. On Sunday, April 12, a Hollywood Hills property was the victim of a home invasion. Another break-in occurred within the hour in Sherman Oaks, with that house getting hit twice within a 24-hour period. The LAPD has been conducting an ongoing investigation to determine if these break-ins are related.
