The reason it’s a clever way to handle the whole thing is because Ice has a partnered with the fast food chain and she previously worked at one before she became famous.
Just last week, she had posted, “till rich still craving @wendys new spicy chicken sandwich #wendyspartner,” on her X account.
In the video, Ice, whose real name is Isis Gaston, is seen sitting in a booth with someone when a young woman jogs over the their table. The woman starts to seemingly antagonize the rapper before suddenly reaching over and slapping her.
The violence escalates as Ice goes to defend herself and chases the unknown woman outside where the altercation continued. More details here.
Her lawyer, Bradford Cohen, shared a statement with Billboard saying they will be exploring avenues to “hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions.”
“The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all criminal and civil avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions,” he said. “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their apparent lack of appropriate security.”
