A new limited-edition watch celebrating Ozzy Osbourne is about to drop—and with only 50 pieces available, it’s already shaping up to be a collector’s item. Created by Split Watches, “The Ozzy” chronograph channels the look, attitude, and legacy of the Prince of Darkness into a bold, blacked-out design packed with rock-and-roll details.
Based on Split’s MC collection, this 50-piece limited-edition pays tribute to the rocker and, best of all, it’s more than just a tribute piece. Every watch sold will support MusiCares, making this one of the rare collector drops that gives back while honoring one of heavy metal’s most influential figures.

"The Ozzy" has an appropriately black 42mm case that's constructed in a proprietary ceramic and polymer synthesis the brand calls Ceramod+. The watch’s meticulously hand painted, black dial is framed with a contrasting white tachymeter scale and uses the twin sub-dials to represent the god of rock’s iconic purple tinted glasses. Applied indexes mark 10 of the hours, while a date window at six o’clock and Ozzy’s signature cross at 12 round out the design. In the darkness the lumed cross glows bright white while the twin registers shine purple. A screw-down crown helps the watch achieve 100 meters of water resistance and the mushroom-shaped chronograph pushers are ringed in purple in another nod to the Madman.
The watch comes on a soft, high-performance fluorocarbon strap. The synthetic rubber is known for its exceptional resistance to heat, chemicals, and durability. Through an exhibition case back, owners can check out the Ozzy’s logo stamped on the rotor of the Seiko NE86A automatic chronograph movement powering the piece. The bi-directional caliber offers a 45-hour power reserve and an accuracy of -15 to +25 seconds per day.

The late rocker’s wife Sharon Osbourne says the watch is a particularly resonant tribute. “Ozzy always said, ‘Time is the most precious thing in the world. Be very careful not to waste it,” she says. “We’re delighted that Split Watches created such a thoughtful piece that truly captures Ozzy’s spirit. The fact that they’re donating the proceeds to MusiCares, an organization that my husband and I have admired and supported for many years, is just fantastic. The money raised is a great way for us to continue to support MusiCares and the music community.”
"The Ozzy” will be available for pre-order at splitwatches.com on May 14 for $2,960. Those interested are advised to set a reminder and sign up for the brand’s newsletter for alerts. With only 50 pieces, the edition is likely to sell out quickly.
