Caitlyn Jenner Asks Trump for Help Over Trans Passport Policy
Caitlyn Jenner is still waiting to hear back from Donald Trump after asking for his help.
After coming out as transgender in 2015, the 76-year-old former reality star worked with a law firm to change all of her official government documents, including her birth certificate, to identify her as female.
However, due to Trump‘s 2025 policy, which blocks transgender and nonbinary people from choosing passport sex marker that align with their gender identity, Caitlyn recently got a new passport that now labels her as male.
During a recent appearance on the Tomi Lahren Is Fearless talk show, Caitlyn said that she was pleaded with Trump over the ordeal, saying that she has “worked very, very hard” to change all of her official documents from male to female.

My passport, global entry, I traveled around the world, I don’t know if you remember last year I got stuck in Tel Aviv when they started bombing,” Caitlyn said, noting that she was able to get out of the region safely with no issue crossing over any borders, including from Israel to Jordan, at the time.
“I love President Trump, and I think he signed this executive order, I don’t know who underneath him was putting this thing together, that all federal documents [have] to be your biological sex at birth,” she continued.
“Recently, I had my passport, I had to get it renewed. I sent it back. It comes back with gender marker M,” Caitlyn shared. “Screws everything up. There’s a form in there if they made a mistake, you can correct it, so I fill out all the proper forms.”
“I even sent a hard copy of my birth certificate,” the former Olympian explained. “I did everything. They sent it back: M. They didn’t change it at all. So now I’m in a position, Tomi, what do I do? This is a safety factor. I can’t travel internationally anymore. I can’t use my passport. I can use Global Entry, it says F, I can travel in the United States, driver’s license, pilot’s license, everything, gender marker F. It really creates a big problem.”
While Caitlyn said that she has Trump‘s personal cell phone number, she hasn’t used it “because it’s not just about me, it’s about all people in this situation.”
Despite this situation, Caitlyn – who has been a long supporter of Trump and his policies – stressed that she doesn’t “blame President Trump” and that she loves him.
While she still hasn’t spoken to Trump, Caitlyn did try to write a letter to him explaining her ordeal.
“I haven’t heard from him,” she said. “He’s kind of busy right now. My gender marker isn’t big on the issue.”
Caitlyn concluded, “I love the guy, and I love what he’s doing. But, I’m trying to figure out now what is the next step to try to figure this out.”
If you didn’t see, Caitlyn recently filed a claim seeking over $400,000 from her late friend Sophia Hutchins‘ estate.
