Boston College adds four transfers in one day as Luke Murray Era takes flight

New Boston College coach Luke Murray continues to build his first roster for life in the ACC.
The Eagles on Thursday landed four commitments in one day.
Montana transfer Money Williams, a two-time All-Big Sky selection, averaged 20.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists last season, while scoring more than 30 points seven times and 40 on one occasion.

Northeastern transfer point guard JB Frankel averaged 5.9 points and was fourth on the Big Ten team with 57 assists last season as a junior. The 6-foot-3 guard is a New York, N.Y. native who attended powerhouse Brewster (NH) Academy.

Murray’squad also added Merrimack transfer guard Ernest Shelton, a 6-5 shooter who averaged 15.9 points and hit 99 3–pointers for the MAAC regular-season champions.

The Philadelphia native made nine 3-pointers on 9-of-12 shooting from distance in a win over Boston University and also scored 23 points on No. 20 Auburn on November.
BC also added Slovenian guard Zak Smrekar. The 6-7, 19-year-old Slovenian is averaging 10 points in 23 minutes in the Adriatic League . He was named to the All-Tournament team at the FIBA U19 World Cup in 2025.
