Sarah Ferguson seen for first time in 213 days at ‘luxury Austrian ski resort’
The former Duchess of York was reportedly pictured in an Alpine village for the first time in months since further details of her links with Jeffrey Epstein emerged.
Sarah Ferguson was last seen in public at the christening of her granddaughter Athena in London on December 12.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s ex-wife has been spending time in the Alps, including in Switzerland, where she is said to have checked into a luxury wellness and recovery centre earlier this year.
Ferguson, who was stripped of her duchess title last year following the deepening Epstein scandal, was now seen at an Austrian ski village, where she has been lying low.
The 66-year-old was reportedly seen stepping out of a people carrier parked outside a chalet with an expressionless face.

She wore green rim glasses and a navy coat, with her signature red hair tucked inside a light cap.
The name of the village has not been publicly disclosed.
Sources told the Sun that Ferguson has been staying at a chalet costing £2,000 per night tucked in the mountains.
She rarely ventures out, a source claimed.
They told the outlet: ‘Fergie has been keeping an incredibly low profile while high up in the Alps.
‘She hasn’t been seen for a long time and has clearly wanted to keep it that way. Her choice of outfit when she popped out was obviously carefully chosen to help her avoid being recognised.
‘The area is absolutely beautiful and it’s very quiet most of the time, so it’s the perfect place for a high-profile figure such as her to lie low when the heat is on.’
Both Ferguson and Andrew have been repeatedly featured in the Epstein files released by the US Department of Justice. This does not imply any wrongdoing or knowledge of Epstein’s crimes.
Emails between the mum-of-two and the late paedophile financier revealed that Ferguson had asked Epstein to ‘just marry me.’
The email, sent shortly after Epstein was released from serving his 2008 conviction for child sex crimes, said: ‘You are a legend. I really don’t have the words to describe my love and gratitude for your generosity and kindness. Xx I am at your service. Just marry me.’
In another exchange, she told Epstein was the ‘brother I have always wished for.’
The former duchess continues to face calls to testify about her business and personal ties to Epstein at the US congressional committee investigating the paedophile businessman, who died in his Manhattan jail cell in an apparent suicide in August 2019.
Andrew, who recently moved out of the Royal Lodge in Windsor he lived at with Ferguson for years after their divorce, has also been asked give evidence at the hearing, but there is no legal mechanism to force him to do so.
Ferguson’s representatives declined to comment after Metro approached them.
