D4vd Arrested for Murder of Celeste Rivas After Her Body Was Found In His Tesla, Being Held Without Bail

D4vd has now been arrested.

The 21-year-old singer, whose real name is David Burke, was taken into custody on Thursday (April 16) and is being held without bail for the murder of Celeste Rivas, the LAPD has announced.

“LAPD NEWS: ‘Detectives from Los Angeles Police Department, Robbery-Homicide Division have arrested David Burke, a 21-year-old resident of Los Angeles, for the murder of Celeste Rivas. Burke is being held without bail,’” they shared on Twitter/X.

“The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s office on Monday for filing consideration,” they added in a follow up post.

D4vd‘s arrest comes seven months after a decomposed body was found in an abandoned Tesla registered to him.

Two months later, D4vd was being eyed as a suspect in the death of teen Celeste Rivas. Later, gruesome details were revealed in the case.

Authorities were called to a tow yard in Los Angeles on September 8th after reports of a foul odor coming from a car, which had been on the property for days. The medical examiner shared that it appeared she was dead for an extended period of time, per NBC News.

Last year, Celeste was reported missing from her home in California, having last been seen in April 2024.
