President Trump announces 10-day ceasefire between Israel, Lebanon
President Donald Trump has announced a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, home to the Iran-sponsored militant Hezbollah organization.
Officials from both of those nations were in Washington for discussions, and Trump described them as “excellent conversations.”
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to the ceasefire to begin late Thursday.
“It has been my Honor to solve 9 Wars across the World, and this will be my 10th, so let’s, GET IT DONE!” Trump said.

The Daily Mail said the meeting was the “first such diplomatic encounter in 34 years.”
Trump said, “These two leaders have agreed that in order to achieve peace between their countries, they will formally begin a ten-day ceasefire at 5pm EST.”
Further, Trump said the next step in his agenda is to convert the temporary truce into a long-term agreement.
The team assigned to that task includes Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan ‘Razin’ Caine.
The report noted that conflict between Lebanon and Israel “has become a major sticking point in Trump’s quest to bring an end to the war in Iran.”
When Trump’s Operation Epic Fury against Iran’s nuclear missile threats was launched, Hezbollah began launching missile attacks on Israel.
“Israel’s retaliation in Lebanon has resulted in a catastrophic death toll, with estimates exceeding 2,000 Lebanese casualties. More than one million people have also been forced to flee their homes,” the report charged.
