PGCIL manager held for financial bungling
Former Power Grid Corporation manager Banothu Ravi Kumar was arrested in Keonjhar for financial irregularities totaling Rs 18.66 lakh. He allegedly engaged in systematic fraud by creating forged contracts, fake purchase orders, and fabricated bills, including payments to a firm linked to his spouse. Investigations revealed manipulation of official records for repeated payments against single works.
