Land losers urge Koraput district administration to revise relief package under Jeypore–Nabarangpur railway project
Farmers and land losers in Badakaudi village have urged the Koraput district administration to revise compensation for land acquisition under the Jeypore–Nabarangpur railway project. They deem the Rs 2.20 lakh per acre for irrigated land "grossly inadequate" and far below the prevailing market rate. The collector assured the matter would be investigated.
