Victoria Beckham Responds To Son Brooklyn's Scathing Instagram Story: 'That’s All I Really Want To Say'
Victoria Beckham is keeping her cards close to her chest when it comes to her estranged son, Brooklyn Beckham.
Almost three months after Brooklyn confirmed an ongoing feud with his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, via a scathing Instagram statement, his fashion designer mom was asked about her eldest son in a profile with the Wall Street Journal published on April 16. However, Victoria is not matching the level of transparency Brooklyn exhibited in his viral post.
“I think that we’ve always — we love our children so much,” Victoria responded when asked about the 27-year-old.
“We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be,” she added. “And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”
Victoria, who also shares adult sons Romeo and Cruz and 14-year-old daughter Harper with David, added that they “trying to do the best [they] can” with parenting their kids into adulthood.
“Being a parent of young adult children and adult children, gosh, I mean, it’s very different from having little children,” she shared.

Victoria and David have not directly responded to their son airing their feud in public, and even appeared to extend an olive branch in March when both parents shared childhood photos of Brooklyn on their Instagram Stories for his birthday. “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much,” Victoria wrote in her post.
Brooklyn, however, made his feelings clear back in January when he wrote that he has no desire “to reconcile” with his family after years of speculation that their relationship has been on the rocks due to his marriage to Nicola Peltz.
In the statement, Brooklyn accused his family of trying to “ruin” his relationship and called the media narrative that claims Nicola “controls him,” “completely backwards,” claiming he has been “controlled by my parents for most of my life.”
“I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private,” Brooklyn wrote. “Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”
Amid several other claims, Brooklyn alleged Victoria danced “inappropriately” on him during his and Nicola’s 2022 wedding after hijacking their first dance.
