The Goat’s Surf Forecast
Surf forecast issued Thursday 16 April 2026: Seven day outlook for Sydney
Top day today for those fortunate enough to be able to get in the water.. little waves later in the day for the kids and those on longboards.
Westery type winds are forecast tomorrow till late, then Southerly type winds all through next week. Winds from a Low way down South are expected to bring up some waves from the South – with wind behind them, and probably cooler air- and you may find yourself looking for sheltered spots for comfort away from any unpleasantness.
The Bureau has Large and powerful surf warnings up for Saturday and Sunday.
Tearing The Goat away from his Persian Orange Cake, he belched out:
Friday: about 1 metre or less, then starting to come up with the wind at places that are open to dead South swell
Saturday: could be around 2ish or 2+ metres dead South spots
Sunday: ditto
Monday: similar South East
Tuesday: ditto East South East
Wednesday: ditto ditto
Thursday: ditto South East.
Then he went back to munching and said
Stay Warm.. And Stay Cool. (He’s very deep).
