Simu Liu & Melissa Barrera's 'The Copenhagen Test' Canceled By Peacock After 1 Season
The Copenhagen Test will not be moving forward with a second season.
The Simu Liu and Melissa Barrera-starring spy thriller series has reportedly been canceled after just one season on Peacock, according to Variety.

The Copenhagen Test followed “first-generation Chinese-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Liu) who realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. Caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers, he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who’s responsible and prove where his allegiance lies.”
All eight episodes dropped at once on December 27th and was generally well liked by critics and audiences.
The single season currently holds a 71% Tomatometer (critics) score on Rotten Tomatoes, and an 80% Popcornmeter (audience).

If you didn’t know, both Simu and Melissa are currently starring in their Broadway debuts. Simu is playing Mary’s Teacher in the Tony-nominated play Oh, Mary!, while Melissa is starring as Rose DeWitt Bukater in Titanique, which just had it’s opening night earlier this week.
You only have just less than a week to catch Simu in Oh, Mary! as his final performance is scheduled for April 21st, before Cheyenne Jackson steps back into the role a week later.
