Alex Cooper Leaks Old DMs with Brianna Chickenfry & Calls Out 'Fake Narrative'; Brianna Explains Why Her Opinion of Alex Changed
Alex Cooper‘s feud with Alix Earle is nowhere close to being over, but now the podcast host is going after Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia as well.
Alex took to her Instagram Stories to respond to negative comments that Brianna was reportedly making about her amid the beef with Alix.
While they’ve never been friends in real life, Alex and Brianna both have worked for Barstool Sports in the past, so they’re linked through Dave Portnoy.
Alex wrote on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday (April 15), “This girl on girl s–t needs to stop. While Alix tries to get her story together, let me address Brianna Chickenfry, who is adding onto the fake narrative and dog pile. Brianna, you coming online saying I’m a mean girl, that I’m going to get destroyed, in peoples comments saying I hate Alex Cooper. Here are the facts. I have never met you in my life. The only communication we have ever had together is through dm.”
Alex then posted screencaps of all of their DMs from over the years.

The DMs include Brianna reaching out to Alex in October 2022 to let her know that she discussed her on the BFFs podcast that day, including allegations that Alex hates her.
“I NEVER SAID THAT. dudeeee,” Alex replied. “I legit was talking to Dave about how great ur doing since joining barstool and I’m happy it’s going well. I’ll kill Dave.”
She also included other DMs from over the years, including some mutual messages of support and congratulations.
“I never invited you on Call Her Daddy. Back during the Zach Bryan situation, I sent you a message of support,” Alex said in another lengthy message on her stories. “Then, you stopped podcasting with plan Bri and as we all know Grace no longer had a show. As a business decision, Unwell then reached out and offered Grace a podcast. We never spoke negatively of you. Nothing negative happened during that time between Unwell, myself, or you.”
Brianna‘s former collaborator Grace O’Malley joined Alex‘s Unwell Network in December 2024.
“So speaking of mean girls… have never met you in my life. What I just showed is the only interaction we’ve ever had. And you hate me? Wow. Please go back and read the dms. That has never been the nature of our relationship,” Alex concluded. She later added, “Also correction – I was in her presence once, didn’t remember back in 2021 on bffs.”
Alex ended her stories by bringing up Alix Earle again. She said, “Now back to Alix. And no this is not a pr stunt.”
Brianna responded very quickly with a video message.
“Okay! Alex Cooper just made a TikTok about me, saying she’s not a mean girl because we had nice DMs, back when, before I found out everything about this girl. And the people that are saying this Alex-on-Alix crime is like a f—ing PR stunt, these are the same people that were saying that about Amanda and Wes, that it was an April Fool’s prank. Like, please guys, get a brain cell,” she began.
Brianna continued, “I work at Barstool, so Dave introduced me to Alex Cooper. I was a fan of Alex Cooper before I knew the wrath of f—ing Alex Cooper and what she does to people and how she treats people. I am friends with Alix Earle. Alix Earle told me everything that transpired between those two two years ago at the Super Bowl. She told me everything. It didn’t happen between them at the Super Bowl, but that’s when she told me everything.”
“From what Alix Earle told me, Alex Cooper is a very, very mean person. Or maybe when Dave called me when Alex signed Grace to Unwell, and she called Dave and said, ‘I don’t give a f–k about Grace, I don’t give a f–k about Brianna, all I care about is making money.’ Yeah, maybe my f–king narrative switched on you after I found things out about you. I used to be a fan,” she added. “Clearly I’m not anymore.”
