Seton Hall transfer Najai Hines commits to UConn

UConn head coach Dan Hurley and the Huskies have found their Tarris Reed successor.
Seton Hall transfer Najai Hines will call Storrs his home next season, per On3.
The 6-foot-10 big man averaged 6.5 points and 5.5 rebounds as a key piece in a turn-around year for head coach Shaheen Holloway and the Pirates.
Hurley, who was a former player at Seton Hall, has wasted no time recruiting to retool a roster losing key pieces after suffering a loss in the National Championship game to Michigan. Seniors Alex Karaban and Reed are among the most prominent pieces being lost to eligibility.
The Huskies also received a visit from Duke transfer Nikolas Khamenia, who could help fill in some of the minutes Karaban provided for the team.
As long as Hurley is at the helm, UConn will continue to be seen as one of the powerhouses in all of college basketball and a real threat to hoist the NCAA Tournament trophy at the end of the season.
