Tempo unveil court design at CocaCola
Canada’s first WNBA floor is here.
The Toronto Tempo unveiled the inaugural court design on Tuesday evening at an exclusive fan event called “Behind the Bounce.”
The bordeaux tempo logo sits at centre court and sets the tone for the rest of the design. There is a sharp contrast between the purple logo and the light wood flooring around it that makes the design pop.
The light blue Tempo colour is heavily featured between the three-point arc and the baseline. The hardwood has a collection of bold and opaque elements and various wood treatments to crate depth and motion.
The floor also features the six speedlines found on the Tempo logo in the key area on both ends. The entire court is surrounded by a bordeaux border.
A different floor will be announced and revealed for the Tempo games happening at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, the Bell Centre in Montreal and Rogers Arena in Vancouver. That design will be shared at a later time.
