Legendary Sitcom Returning to Netflix in Several Regions Soon
On May 1, Netflix will shuffle its library, adding and subtracting dozens of movies and television shows. According to a new report, an iconic NBC sitcom is returning to the platform--but only in select locations.
All seven seasons of 30 Rock are coming to Netflix UK and other select European territories on May 1, 2026, per What's on Netflix. The show was last available on the app from August 2021 until August 2022.
"If you’ve been a Netflix subscriber for a few years, you’ll know that 30 Rock has had a bit of a revolving-door relationship with the platform," writes What's on Netflix's Kasey Moore. "The series was previously licensed to Netflix in various regions before NBCUniversal pulled back many of its highest-profile comedies to bolster its own platforms or syndicate elsewhere."
What to know
In addition to Netflix UK, 30 Rock is coming to Italy, France and other parts of Europe. All 138 episodes of the Tina Fey-led comedy will be available.
If you're a 30 Rock fan in America, you're out of luck though. The show will not be returning to Netflix in the United States, Canada or Australia, among other places.
