Information for Saturday’s match at the Gallagher
When the fixture list served up Maidstone United vs. Worthing on the penultimate weekend, most pundits would have predicted there being something on the game.
And indeed there is.
A win for the Stones would take the race for a top seven finish into the final weekend, while three points for the visitors would all but secure promotion to the National League. Add to that George Elokobi’s final home match of his three-year managerial career and seven years all told, there is a lot of interest in this game.
For all those reasons and more, this is an all-ticket match. Tickets will not be available on the turnstiles this Saturday. Home tickets are available to purchase via the Fanbase app or website. There are also in person sales from the club office today (15 April) between 16:00 and 18:30 and Thursday 16 April from 14:00 to 16:00.
Home tickets will be available to buy online until 11:00 on Saturday morning, subject to availability.
Turnstiles will open at 12:30, ahead of the 15:00 kick-off.
A reminder that all children aged 16 and under with an e-ticket must be accompanied by adult with an e-ticket. The only exception to that ground rule is if the child is a youth season ticket holder or has a youth membership card. (Due to postal delivery times ahead of Saturday, youth memberships have closed for this season).
Visiting supporters will be located in the south-west corner of the stadium and the Town End Stand, with access via Turnstiles 1 and 2 (main car park). Under league rules, the away club is entitled to 15% of the total number of tickets available (or a minimum of 600), which is why the allocation has been extended to cover the whole Town End Stand on this occasion.
Stones supporters will have access to the rest of the Gallagher Stadium, with entry via:
- Turnstiles 3, 4, 5 and 6 (main car park)
- Turnstiles 8 and 9 (James Whatman Way, opposite the café)
Please have your QR code ready to scan. This can be via your mobile phone screen or a print out. QR codes are one-use only. Any copies or duplicates will be rejected.
Please co-operate with entry stewards, who reserve the right to check both individuals and bags for banned items. Such items include pyrotechnics. It is a criminal offence to attempt to bring a pyrotechnic device into a designated football ground or to be in possession of a pyrotechnic device in spectator viewing accommodation at a designated football ground.
Equally, it is an offence for a person at a designated football match to go onto the playing area, or any area adjacent to the playing area to which spectators are not generally admitted. There will be additional CCTV for this fixture, footage of which will be shared with both clubs, as well as Kent Police and Sussex Police.
Once inside the ground the following food and beverage concessions will be open:

FAQs
To help you prepare for Saturday’s fixture, here are some FAQs that have cropped up during the week or so:
I am a season ticket holder who brings an under-6 in for free, do I need a ticket for them?
Yes, you do. Anyone coming through the turnstiles needs to have a QR code ticket. These are available from the Fanbase app or website.
Where’s the nearest place to park?
The nearest car park is at Maidstone East Station, signed off the roundabout nearest the ground. Payment can be made via the APCOA app. Other car parks in reasonable walking distance are County Road and Fremlin Walk. Please note: surrounding residential streets are permit parking only. Please be respectful of our neighbours, thank you.
What time do turnstiles open?
Turnstiles open at the usual time of 12:30. As our turnstile staff are only scanning QR codes, it will hopefully be a quicker process than handling cash or do card transactions. That said, please arrive a bit earlier than you usually would as we are expecting one, if not the, largest attendances of the season.
Are match programmes on sale to away fans?
Yes, they are. Programmes will be available from the Box Bar. For home supporters, programmes are on sale in the usual places: outside the club shop and from the Travis Perkins Programme Hut (by Turnstiles 8 and 9).
Is there a disabled toilet in the away end?
Yes, there is. It’s on the right-hand side of the toilet block. It also doubles up as a baby changing facility.
Worthing fans have got access to the whole Town End stand, can I still get to the club shop?
Yes, you can. The area behind the stand, which includes the club shop, Town End Bar and Pie Hut will be open as usual. Once again, we apologise to all those who usually stand in the Town End but thank you for your co-operation and understanding on this occasion.
What are the plans for after the game?
There are various scenarios that could play out at full time but regardless of those, there will be the presentation of the Manager’s Player, Players’ Player and Supporters’ Player of the Season. We will also invite George Elokobi to say some words as he prepares to stand down at the end of the season after seven years at the club. The Spitfire Lounge will be open into the evening and George, Craig, their management team and players will be coming in to meet supporters, sign autographs (sheets will be available) and do some selfies.
