TEN to Deliver On-Site Trailer Inspections Through Ontario’s DriveON Pilot Program

Program enables on-site, digitally connected inspections that reduce fleet downtime and keep trailers on the road

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — TEN (Transportation Equipment Network), an end-to-end leasing, financing, fleet solutions and maintenance company, has been selected to participate in the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario’s (MTO) DriveON Mobile Pilot Project. The program allows certified trailer inspections to be performed at select customer locations instead of requiring equipment to travel to inspection facilities. TEN was selected based on its infrastructure, scale and track record in fleet maintenance and compliance.

Under the DriveON pilot, TEN will deploy trained technicians directly to customer yards, completing certified vehicle safety and emissions inspections on-site and submitting results in real time through the MTO’s DriveON system. On-site inspections can be scheduled more efficiently around the customer’s workflow, reducing disruption during peak periods. Participation is currently available to select customers across Ontario, with plans to expand availability as the program progresses.

TEN technicians will use approved digital inspection tools, giving fleet managers clearer visibility into compliance status and making it easier to stay audit-ready without chasing paperwork. On-site inspections follow MTO certification standards.

The DriveON pilot builds on TEN’s existing service infrastructure. Through TEN Care, the company’s full-service maintenance and repair program, TEN delivers scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventative inspections across more than 45 locations in Canada and the U.S., supported by one of the strongest mobile service fleets in the industry, with 118 mobile service trucks. The addition of certified on-site inspections through DriveON extends that model, giving customers even more flexibility to receive inspections without interruption.

TEN plans to expand the program’s availability over time based on fleet size and operational fit.
