Taylor Sheridan's Boldest Drama Just Got Renewed For Season 3 Before Season 2 Has Aired
One of the biggest shows in the Yellowstone orbit is going to be around for a lot longer. Before Season 2 of The Madison had aired, Season 3 had just been greenlit. Starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, The Madison tells a smaller, quieter series than some of Taylor Sheridan's other, more famous shows. When the affluent family, the Clyburns, suffers a huge tragedy, a tale of moving from the city to the country becomes a non-linear, novelistic show about loss and memory.
Is The Madison over-the-top and melodramatic? Yes. Is it a crowd-pleaser like Yellowstone? Not exactly. Is it a big sappy? Perhaps. Is it hugely popular, with undeniably moving performances? Also yes. The Madison feels like one of those sad movies our parents loved, but stretched out into a bingeable show. And now, The Madison is digging for a much longer run. As revealed by Paramount on April 14, 2026, The Madison Season 3 is happening, even as Season 2 prepares for release.
"The news follows a stellar debut for the Taylor Sheridan original series, which launched on March 14 to an impressive eight million global views for its premiere episode in its first 10 days on Paramount+," the press release stated. Paramount also states that The Madison is "Sheridan’s most-watched debut ever."
When will Madison Season 2 and Season 3 be released?
According to Paramount, "Production for the second season of The Madison is complete, and the premiere date will be announced at a later date." So, right now, we can expect The Madison Season 2 sometime in 2027, and maybe Season 3 in 2028.
