Transfer roundup: Villanova’s Acaden Lewis picks Miami

Acaden Lewis, considered one of the best guards in the portal, will transfer from Villanova to Miami, he announced on Tuesday.

Lewis decommitted from Kentucky last spring and was pursued by Miami before he chose Villanova, where he went on to average 12.2 points, 5.3 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. He had a 14-point, 12-assist game in the regular-season finale, a win over Xavier. He was a second-team All-Big East pick and voted to the conference's all-freshman team.

A lefty point guard, Lewis had also declared for the NBA draft at the same time that he entered his name in the transfer portal last week.
