EuroLeague prospect Quinn Ellis commits to St. John’s

There will be no more questions at the point guard position for St. John’s next season.
Highly touted EuroLeague prospect Quinn Ellis will play for the Johnnies next season, a source confirmed to ZAGSBLOG.
It was first reported by the New York Post.
St. John’s beat out bids from multiple high-profile schools such as Duke and Louisville for Ellis as they make a big splash to start their recruitment cycle.
The 6-foot-5 guard had a starting role in the EuroLeague and is expected to make a significant impact under Rick Pitino as the team’s point guard.
Ellis was considered a top 100 prospect for the 2024 NBA Draft, according to ESPN but will not take his talents to college.
St. John’s is in the midst of a massive roster overhaul that includes visits from several prospects on Tuesday, including Kansas State transfer guard Abdi Bashir, Kentucky transfer forward Mo Dioubate, Cincinnati transfer big man Moustapha Thiam and Toledo transfer guard Leroy Blyden Jr.
On Wednesday, the Johnnies are slated to host 6-8 Robert Morris transfer Dasean Goode, while next week Seton Hall transfer big man Najai Hines and Arizona State transfer forward Massamba Diop are expected.
