Guy Fieri Responds to Backlash After UFC Video Shows Him Warmly Greeting Andrew Tate
Guy Fieri is responding to backlash after he was spotted greeting Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate at a UFC event over the weekend.
The Tate brothers are a notoriously controversial pair, with Andrew a self-described misogynist. The brothers are also currently under investigation for alleged human trafficking.
A video shared on Threads by BroBible’s sports editor shows Guy shaking hands and chatting with the brothers.

On Tuesday (April 14), Guy took to social media to issue a response.
“I’m seeing all of your comments about the photo from Saturday’s UFC event and all I can say is that I’m devastated,” the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host wrote. “I was there to see the fights and when I was walking through the venue, the Tate brothers stood up and said hello and that’s when the exchanged happened. I did not know them or about them before that moment.”
“I’ll never pretend to be a perfect person but let me be crystal clear, I do not know the Tate brothers nor do I support them in any way,” he concluded.
