Taylor Lautner’s Pregnant Wife Tay Shares the Most On-Point First Trimester Photos We’ve Ever Seen
The first trimester of pregnancy is hard. I’ve gone through it four times, and it’s my least favorite part of pregnancy — the glow? Non-existent. The nausea? Constant misery. Not to mention bloating, mood swings, and extreme tiredness. It’s not for the faint of heart, and Taylor Lautner’s wife, Tay Lautner, captured it perfectly in a new first-trimester photo dump.
“First Trimester diaries????????????????????????,” Tay posted on Instagram on April 13. She shared a photo dump of all the moments making up the first three months of pregnancy, which included a picture of her crouched in a fetal position to sleep on a chair, smiling from her OB-GYN’s office, and sleeping on a couch under a banner of “Happy birthday” balloons. There is also a snap of a meal that indicates her wide range of cravings, including French fries, Cheetos, Girl Scout cookies, and fruit.
In another, she sits on the floor cross-legged, inhaling a small blue device. On her Instagram story, she explained that this is a nausea relief inhaler. “I told y’all this thing is a lifesaver,” she wrote. Poor girl — she really seems to be going through it!
Her Twilight star husband commented, “My hero,” and we love the support.
In March, the Lautners announced their pregnancy with a joint post on Instagram. “What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?????” it was captioned, featuring a picture of Tay holding ultrasound images and Taylor kissing her growing bump, among other snaps.
It hasn’t all been easy sailing, though. In a podcast interview on The Squeeze earlier this month, Tay got real about her pregnancy experience so far. “During my first trimester, I was convinced that body positivity of pregnant women and loving your body was propaganda,” she revealed. “I don’t know how people love their bodies. Like, I am so uncomfortable in my own skin. But, for the first time in my 29 years of life, I have hated my body. … I literally have not liked how I looked one bit.”
She added, “It’s so silly, like, I’m growing a baby, of course my body’s going to change. [But still] it’s hard, man.”
