Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Kick Off 4-Day Australia Trip with Visits to Hospital & Veterans Museum
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have kicked off their trip down under!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are on a four-day trip of Australia and they began their tour with a visit to the Royal Children’s Hospital on Tuesday morning (April 14) in Melbourne, Australia.
Harry and Meghan were seen greeting kids and going room-to-room to meet patients.
Later, they changed outfits and then went to the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum in Southbank.
The couple flew on a commercial plan from the U.S. to Australia, sitting in business class alongside other passengers on a Qantas flight. This is their first time visiting the country since their 2018 tour.
“It wasn’t until we got off the plane that we realized it was them,” a passenger told The Age.
Another person talked about the chat they had with Meghan and Harry, recalling, “I said, ‘I hope you have a lovely time in Melbourne and I’m sure you’ll enjoy Sydney.’ We spoke about their children and that they were here for a couple of days.”
Next up for the Duke and Duchess are visits to Canberra and Sydney. Stay tuned for all of the photos.
