WATCH: Anna Paulina Luna issues new threat to ‘wormy’ Eric Swalwell as Kash Patel invites Democrat ‘to sit down with FBI’
U.S. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., threatened on Tuesday to go ahead with expulsion measures against Democrat Eric Swalwell if he does not formalize his “wormy” statement that he was resigning from Congress.
“If Congressman Swalwell has not resigned with the Clerk of the House by 2 PM today, I will continue my resolution regarding his expulsion,” Luna, a member of the House Oversight Committee, posted on X.
“His statement about his ‘plan to resign his seat’ is not binding and is wormy. The same goes for Tony.”

The Tony to whom Luna refers is U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, who also announced his own retirement Monday as he faced expulsion over an affair with a staffer who took her own life.
Shortly after this story was published, Luna posted an update, indicating: “I have received word that Swalwell has begun the internal process of switching his staff over to the Clerk of the House. His resignation will be incoming shortly. Same with Tony.”

I have been contacted by Swalwell’s office and informed that he will be submitting his letter of resignation shortly, with an effective date of Friday, so that he may transfer his staff and office administratively to the House Clerk. I am hearing the same will be done regarding…

“We have successfully drained part of the swamp this week with the resignation of two very corrupt members of Congress. Thank you for your attention to this matter,” Luna added, channeling a popular sign-off phrase often used by President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, FBI Director Kash Patel has issued an informal invitation to Swalwell to talk with law enforcement about the sexual assault allegations made against him, which the Democrat claims are false.
“Eric Swalwell has maintained that none of the allegations against him are true, and now that he’s resigned, we would welcome him to sit down with the FBI and share any information he has,” Patel said.
“We also encourage and welcome any person with relevant information to any of these matters to speak with us. Door is open to all.”
Luna appeared Monday night on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” saying Swalwell could end up behind bars concerning the rape allegations of numerous women.
“I do think that he has serious criminal problems on his hand, and I do think that he might end up in jail,” Luna said.
She also discussed video on social media purportedly showing Swalwell allegedly having relations with a sex worker.
Luna noted: “Not only did I receive forensic reporting showing that infamous video of him in the hotel room was indeed him, it was not A.I.-generated, but I’m also being told that more stuff is going to be dropping in the next 24 hours and then also potentially the individual that recorded that video in that hotel room, Jesse, was a female and she was underage.”
