Class 5 student dies after eating stale hostel food, over 100 hospitalised
A Class 5 student died and over 100 others fell ill in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district due to suspected food poisoning from stale pakhala and other dishes served at a government residential school hostel. The headmaster has been suspended, and the chief minister announced an ex gratia for the deceased's family.
