Squad Update | Munster Continue Preparations For Benetton
The Munster squad are continuing preparations at the HPC ahead of Saturday’s URC Round 15 clash against Benetton at Stadio Monigo (7.45pm Irish time, live on TG4 & Premier Sports).
On the injury front, Diarmuid Barron, Brian Gleeson and Calvin Nash have all completed the return-to-play protocols and returned to training.
There is also a positive update on Oli Jager (foot), Conor Bartley (neck) and Jean Kleyn (ankle) as they all return to training this week.
On the club front, there have been 291 appearances for senior and Academy players so far this season.
There were 12 Munster players in AIL action for the final round of regular season fixtures the weekend before last.
Danny Sheahan scored a hat-trick for Cork Constitution with Michael Foy and Dylan Hicks also featuring in their win over Lansdowne at Temple Hill.
Andrew Smith was a try-scorer for Young Munster in their victory over Ballynahinch with Fionn Gibbons and Jake O’Riordan also in action for the Cookies.
Conor Kennelly started for Highfield in their loss away to Queen’s University.
Gene O’Leary Kareem, Conor Ryan and Seán Edogbo all started for UCC in their win over Garryowen at the Mardyke.
Emmet Calvey and Oisín Minogue started for Shannon as they won away at Cashel.
