5 best and worst performances (7 replies)
Under Davies.
Conversation in another thread got me thinking.
I haven't got actual stats to hand, if anyone can validate any of the performances with data that would be helpful but for me.
BEST
1) Birmingham 2-3 Newcastle
Pushed a premier league side all the way matching their intensity, work rate and quality. Never really looking outclassed and arguably unlucky not to win.
2) Birmingham 1-1 Leeds Utd
- See Newcastle
3) Birmingham 1-1 Ipswich
- See Newcastle but *former premier league side
4) Birmingham 4-1 Norwich
- Moved the ball quickly. Iwata underlapping at right back was really immense and he was everywhere. A joy of a performance
5) Birmingham 4-0 Millwall.
9/10's all round. Not a weak or average performance from anyone. Outstanding against what could be a premier league side
Worst
1) Derby 1-0 Birmingham
2) Birmingham 0-2 Peterborough (EFL Trophy Final)
Not actually a nightmare performance (the other 4 can be described as such and probably why ultimately Davies needs to go), but also not good. Choked.
3) Watford 3-0 Birmingham (especially since the 2-1 home win should probably be among the 5 best as we really dug in and fought and fully deserved the win)
4) Sheffield United 3-0 Birmingham
5) Birmingham 1-0 Port Vale
