'Jumanji 3' Gets Official Title, Plot Revealed During Cast Appearance at CinemaCon 2026
The third installment of the Jumanji reboot franchise is being released this year and the official title has been revealed.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black all stepped out to announce the news during Sony Pictures’ panel at 2026 CinemaCon on Monday (April 13) at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The actors, along with director Jake Kasdan, revealed that the movie will be titled Jumanji: Open World.

Sony revealed that in the new movie, “Our heroes have escaped the ever-changing jungles of Jumanji before, but this time the game comes to us – as Jumanji breaks free of its console, unleashing its chaos into our world.” This storyline was teased at the end of the previous film, The Next Level.
Jumanji: Open World is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day, 2026.
2017′s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle grossed $962 million worldwide and 2019′s Jumanji: The Next Level earned $801 million worldwide.
