Selena Gomez Is Planning a Special ‘Surprise’ for Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce Wedding
Selena Gomez is reportedly leading plans for a big "surprise" at Taylor Swift's upcoming wedding to Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
Last August, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift announced their engagement after two years of dating. Page Six reported last week that their wedding will be held in New York City on July 3.
Swift confirmed the rumored romance with Kelce when she attended the Chiefs' home game at Arrowhead Stadium against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 24, 2023. Now, the power couple will tie the knot in less than three months' time.
According to Steve Brenner of The Sun, Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid, who are in Swift's wedding party, are planning a major "surprise" for the big day:
"They are reportedly producing a video of approximately six or seven minutes to show the guests during the wedding. This film, per the source, will cover Taylor’s journey, the moment she met Travis Kelce, and private moments between them.
It features footage from their personal collections of photos and videos that has never been shown to the public, capturing a closer insight into their relationship."
On top of that, the bridesmaids are planning a karaoke session to honor Swift's illustrious music career:
"Another major highlight of the wedding will be a special karaoke session. The bridesmaids are allegedly planning to perform songs that take a trip down memory lane, spanning Taylor’s biggest hits – and she can take the stage, if she wants.
Selena, per our insider, is behind the giant karaoke plan with the idea of everyone 'showing their love to help celebrate Taylor’s superstardom.' According to the source, she originally brought the idea to the group, and it was very well received."
It's not every day that the world's biggest music star ties the knot. There's no telling how much the final wedding will cost or how many A-list celebrities will be at the event.

After spending some time considering his future in football, Kelce signed a three-year extension with the Chiefs worth $54.7 million. However, it's essentially structured as a one-year pact for $12 million.
Kansas City missed the playoffs last season with a 6-11 record, their worst finish since 2012, the year before Andy Reid took over. It also marked the end of their 10-year playoff streak and their nine-year run as the AFC West division champions.
Despite the frustrating year, Kelce turned in a fine season with 76 receptions for 851 yards and five touchdowns. He may not be at the top of his game anymore, but Kelce remains Patrick Mahomes' most trusted target heading into 2026.
