Planned Parenthood Mutilated More Than 120,000 People With Sex Change Drugs

Planned Parenthood recently released its annual report revealing that the abortion giant once again exceeded previous annual records killing 434,450 unborn babies via abortion while receiving a new high of $832 million in taxpayer funding in 2024-2025. While the corporation lost its largest funding source in federal Medicaid funding under the Trump administration’s Big Beautiful Bill in July 2025, that cut took effect after this report’s fiscal reporting period which means that lost revenue is not reflected in this report.

However, before the federal funding cut-off, U.S. taxpayers were still Planned Parenthood’s largest financial contributor by supplying 38 percent of the organization’s more than $2.1 billion in revenue. Even though Planned Parenthood closed at least 50 facilities across 18 states since federal defunding, at least 70 percent of its abortion business comes from chemical abortions via abortion drugs dispensed in-person or via mail.

In addition, a 2025 study from the American Principles Project (AAP) found that Planned Parenthood is the nation’s leading provider of harmful “gender interventions,” providing more than 120,000 gender intervention services a year.

Planned Parenthood’s 2024-2025 report, ironically titled “Care Continues,” shows that its abortions rose eight percent from the previous year (402,230) and taxpayer funding rose five percent (a $39.8 million increase from $792.2 million). While the company’s “prenatal care services” rose 10 percent with 7,685 services, it performed nearly 57 abortions for every one prenatal service indicating abortion is its priority over prenatal care. The company’s adoption referrals also rose 41 percent to 3,038, but it killed more than 143 unborn babies for every one adoption referral last year.

Long-term data from Planned Parenthood’s annual reports over the last 10 years show that while abortion services and taxpayer funding continually increased, actual health care services have been declining. Since 2015, Planned Parenthood’s prenatal services declined by more than 55 percent and cancer screenings fell by more than 42 percent. Between 2023 and 2024 alone, Planned Parenthood reported decreases in miscarriage care by 21 percent, preventive care visits by 3.2 percent, and cancer screenings by 8.6 percent which indicates a sustained reduction in general health services in favor of abortion.

In fact, Planned Parenthood controls 38.5 percent of the U.S. market share of abortions, according to data from both pro-life and pro-abortion organizations. As its 2024-2025 report reads, this includes providing chemical abortion via telehealth in 24 states, and helping more than 171,000 people since the 2022 Dobbs decision with “funding for transportation, lodging, meals, and dependent care while traveling to appointments.”

Thirteen states have bans on elective abortions in effect, while seven states have active restrictions on abortion at or before 12 weeks of pregnancy. During the 2024-2025 reporting period, Planned Parenthood affiliates “disbursed $3.7 million to more than 12,200 patients” for abortion travel to circumvent abortion “barriers,” such as these pro-life laws.

Even though it is the largest abortion provider in America, Planned Parenthood’s annual report claims that abortion is only four percent of its “medical services” for the last fiscal year. However, Planned Parenthood arrives at this false statistic by dividing the number of children it aborted (434,450) for the year by the number of “services” the group provided (9.9 million). This means when a woman visits a Planned Parenthood facility to obtain an abortion, she is also given a pregnancy test, an STI test, a cancer screening and contraception. Therefore, the abortion procedure would be considered 20 percent of the “services” she received. Using this deceptive formula, the report manipulates the data to make it appear as if abortion is a tiny percent of its “services,” though a much higher percentage of actual patients who visit Planned Parenthood facilities are there, first and foremost, to obtain an abortion.

While Planned Parenthood listed “gender-affirming hormone therapy” as being provided by 45 of its affiliates in a previous report, the organization did not list it as an individual category in 2024-2025. However, Planned Parenthood’s website still promotes harmful puberty blockers, hormone therapies, and surgery referrals. The AAP study determined that 80 percent of Planned Parenthood facilities provide so-called “gender interventions, which is more than the 70 percent of its facilities that offer abortion.

Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver said, “Planned Parenthood’s annual report shows that once again it continues to profit off killing unborn babies. Abortion and medical mutilation via gender interventions are not health care. There should be no public funding for Planned Parenthood.”
